How you set up the padel tournament

Sets, not the games

In setup, switch scoring to sets. You enter 2:1 or 2:0. You keep 6:4, 3:6, 10:8 on court. The duration in the planner is the court booking: about 75 minutes for a best of three, 30 minutes when you play on time.

Levels, and what does not fit

A, B and C are divisions with their own groups. The pair picks the division at sign-up. The entry fee sits on the pair and goes through Stripe. Americano and Mexicano, where partners change, do not fit. Here a pair stays one team through the group and the knockout.

Typical tournaments

01

Club weekend

Divisions A, B and C. Groups on Saturday, finals on Sunday. A slot closer to 75 minutes.

02

Company event on the clock

A duration of 20 or 30 minutes. You enter the sets when the clock runs out.

03

Mixed

One division per level, so A is not drawn against C. The pair has two names on the roster.

How to set it up

Four steps and the basics are in place.

  1. 1

Switch scoring to sets. Enter 2:1, not 6:4 and 7:5.

  2. 2

Add each court as a field. Four courts are four fields, even when they share a wall.

  3. 3

Add divisions A, B and C. A pair is a team with two players.

  4. 4

Set the slot honestly: 75 minutes for a best of three, 30 minutes for timed matches.

Padel tournament questions

Can I run Americano or Mexicano?

No. Partners change after every game. In EasyTourney a pair stays one team through the group and the knockout.

Do I enter the games or the sets?

The sets, for example 2:1. 6:4 and 7:5 stay on court. The table sorts by win points and set difference.

Can a match end on time?

The duration in the planner is the court booking. You play to the clock and enter the sets. There is no automatic whistle.

How do I separate A, B and C?

As divisions. The pair picks one at sign-up. Groups and tables stay inside it. Everyone shares the courts.

Can the entry fee be paid online?

Yes, through Stripe at sign-up, into the organiser's account. With no fee, leave the price at 0.
