Pairs and the sets
On sign-up, the pair puts both players on the roster. In setup, switch scoring to sets. For two sets to win you enter 2:0 or 2:1. For a single set to 21 you enter 1:0. The points to 21 stay on the board by the net.
A pair is a team with both names on the roster. Scoring is on sets, and each sand court is a field. A storm break is a pause you add in the planner.

Each sand court is a field, and so is a court in an indoor beach hall. Pools are groups, and the knockout is the next phase. When a storm comes in, add a break and push the open matches later. The tournament page shows the new times. You do not need Wi-Fi. Mobile data is enough.
Groups in the morning, the knockout as a second phase. One field per sand court. If the day will not hold, play one set and enter 1:0.
Pairs as teams. Dinner or a shirt is an extra on the sign-up form, not its own phase.
Each evening is a match day in the same event. The table can run on, or you start a new phase each night.
Four steps and the basics are in place.
Switch scoring to sets. For a best of three, enter 2:0 or 2:1. For a single set to 21, enter 1:0.
Add each sand court as a field. Courts in an indoor beach hall work the same way.
A pair is a team. Both players go on the roster.
For a storm or a heat stop, add a break and move the matches that follow.
